Technology companies lead US stocks lower; oil down

Technology companies pulled U.S. stocks slightly lower in late-afternoon trading Thursday, placing the market on course to snap a four-day winning streak. Cruise lines, fast-food restaurants and other consumer-focused companies also declined. A slide in crude oil prices weighed on energy stocks. Health care companies were among the big gainers.
